Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how the WrapKit app for macOS (“WrapKit”) and the wrapkit.app website handle information. WrapKit is developed by Anudeep Avula (“we”, “us”).

WrapKit is a local-first Mac app. You can use it without creating an account or giving us your name, email address, or other profile information.

Content stored on your Mac

WrapKit stores your workspace locally on your Mac, inside the app’s own storage. Depending on how you use it, this can include:

• Blocks and Collections — reusable text, emails, links, images, PDFs, and files, and how you organize them.
• Kits — their content, personalization fields and values, and checklists.
• Wraps — status, dates, next actions, checklists, private notes, personalized content, and Versions.
• People — contact details you choose to add and assign to Wraps.
• Files you add — documents, images, and PDFs you select or save to WrapKit are copied into its local storage.
• Preferences — settings such as your keyboard shortcuts.

This content is not uploaded to us. WrapKit has no WrapKit cloud workspace and does not sync your workspace to a server we operate. You keep ownership of the content you create or add.

Files, clipboard, and shortcuts

WrapKit runs in Apple’s App Sandbox. It can read or write files outside its own storage only when you select them — for example, through a standard Open or Save dialog, or by dragging them in.

Save to Blocks reads your clipboard only when you use it — by pressing its shortcut or choosing to save from the clipboard. WrapKit shows you what it read, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

WrapKit’s global shortcuts use the standard macOS hot-key system. WrapKit does not monitor or record your keystrokes.

Purchases and RevenueCat

WrapKit Pro Lifetime is an in-app purchase processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never receive your payment card details. Billing, payment, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

WrapKit uses RevenueCat to manage purchases and check whether WrapKit Pro is active. To do this, RevenueCat processes:

• an anonymous app user identifier generated by RevenueCat (not your name or Apple Account);
• purchase history and transaction or receipt information from the App Store; and
• limited technical information needed to provide the service, such as app and operating system version.

We use this information to provide WrapKit Pro, restore purchases, and view aggregate purchase reporting. It is not linked to your identity. WrapKit never sends RevenueCat the contents of your Blocks, Kits, Wraps, files, messages, notes, checklists, or personalization values.

Third-party service providers used by WrapKit are required to protect information they process in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

Network connections

WrapKit connects to the internet to communicate with Apple’s App Store and RevenueCat for purchases and WrapKit Pro status. When you open a link saved in WrapKit, it opens in your web browser, which follows its own privacy practices.

Mail and sharing

When you choose to send a Wrap with Mail, copy content, or share or export it, WrapKit hands the content you chose to macOS or the app you pick. Sending is completed by your mail app and provider. WrapKit does not operate an email server, send mail in the background, or read your inbox. Destination apps and services follow their own privacy practices.

What we don’t do

• WrapKit contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We don’t use your workspace content for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
• We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• We don’t sell or rent personal information.

This website

wrapkit.app does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical information — such as IP address and browser type — to deliver and secure the site. If you email us, we use your message and email address only to respond.

Retention and deletion

Because your workspace lives on your Mac, you control it. You can delete Blocks, Kits, Wraps, and other content in WrapKit at any time. Removing WrapKit and its data from your Mac removes the locally stored workspace.

Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained under their policies and legal obligations. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you. To ask about your information, contact support@wrapkit.app.

Security

WrapKit uses Apple’s App Sandbox, which limits the app to its own storage and the files you grant it. Your workspace also benefits from your Mac’s own protections, such as FileVault disk encryption when it is turned on.

Children

WrapKit is a general productivity app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Most WrapKit information is on your own Mac, where you can view and delete it directly. For anything else, contact support@wrapkit.app and we’ll help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as WrapKit changes. We’ll post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top.
