Privacy Policy

Effective: September 2026

WrapKit is a local-first native macOS productivity application designed for creating reusable Kits, independent Wraps, and meaningful Versions. No WrapKit account is required for V1. Core workspace content is stored locally on the user's Mac. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the WrapKit macOS application and the wrapkit.app website.

1. Overview

WrapKit is a local-first native macOS productivity application. No WrapKit account or registration is required to use the software. Core workspace content is stored locally on the user's Mac. You can download and use WrapKit immediately without providing your name, email address, password, or profile information.

2. Locally Stored Content

WrapKit stores your workspace content locally on your Mac according to the app's storage implementation. User workspace content can include:

  • Kits: Reusable master setup templates containing configured items, text, and tasks.
  • Wraps: Independent real-world uses of a Kit for specific situations (such as a job application, client project, or trip).
  • Versions: Meaningful milestone updates and saved historical snapshots within the same Wrap.
  • Reusable text: Template snippets, body copy, and reusable text documents.
  • Mail/Text content: Subject lines, message drafts, and text content blocks.
  • Personalization values: Reusable fields such as company names, role titles, contact information, and rates.
  • People/contact associations: Names and contact records associated with specific Wraps.
  • Links: URLs, portfolio references, website links, and external document links.
  • Checklist data: Action items, completion statuses, and workflow checklist tasks.
  • Notes: Contextual notes, logs, and workflow reminders.
  • User-selected files/documents/images/PDFs: Resumes, portfolios, media files, rate sheets, or attachments explicitly selected by the user.
  • Workflow dates/status information: Deadlines, follow-up dates, calendar entries, and workflow statuses.

All of this content remains locally managed on your Mac. WrapKit does not maintain a WrapKit cloud account or remote cloud workspace in V1, and does not upload your Kits, Wraps, files, messages, or personalization content to a WrapKit cloud server.

3. Files and User Content Ownership

Users retain ownership of the content and files they create, import, or manage in WrapKit. WrapKit does not claim ownership of user workspace content. All user-created text, documents, and files remain under your ownership and custody on your Mac.

If you choose to export content, copy materials, or prepare content for an external application (such as Apple Mail), that destination application's own privacy practices and terms apply. WrapKit does not control third-party software destinations.

4. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

WrapKit does not use advertising or behavioral analytics to profile users. WrapKit does not use the contents of Kits, Wraps, files, messages, or other workspace content for advertising or behavioral profiling.

WrapKit does not display advertisements, operate third-party tracking pixels, or sell personal information to data brokers.

5. RevenueCat and Purchase Management

WrapKit uses RevenueCat to manage WrapKit Pro purchases and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app/customer identifier, purchase history, transaction or receipt information, and limited technical information required to provide purchase and entitlement services. WrapKit does not provide RevenueCat with a WrapKit account because there is no account system.

WrapKit does not send RevenueCat the contents of your Kits, Wraps, documents, files, messages, notes, checklists, or personalization values for purchase management. Purchases and entitlement status are verified using an anonymous identifier and Apple's Mac App Store infrastructure.

Third-party service providers used by WrapKit are required to protect information they process in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. WrapKit does not authorize its purchase-service providers to use workspace content for behavioral advertising or profiling.

6. Payment Information

WrapKit Pro purchases are processed through Apple's Mac App Store. WrapKit does not directly collect or store payment-card credentials such as credit-card numbers, card security codes, or billing credentials.

Billing, payment processing, and applicable refund handling occur through Apple according to Apple's policies and terms.

7. Apple Mail and External Applications

WrapKit can prepare content or a draft for Apple Mail. Sending is completed through the user's chosen mail application/provider. WrapKit does not operate an email server, send mail in the background, monitor inboxes, verify delivery, or read incoming email.

If you choose to open links or export content to external applications, those destination applications operate under their own independent privacy practices and terms.

8. Network Connections

Core Kit and Wrap workspace functionality is designed to operate locally. Network access may occur when WrapKit communicates with Apple's App Store infrastructure and RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management, and when the user intentionally opens external links or content.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

WrapKit does not maintain a WrapKit cloud account or remote cloud copy of the user's workspace content in V1. Data retention and deletion are managed directly on your Mac:

  • Users can remove locally stored Kits, Wraps, Versions, and related content through the app where deletion controls are available according to the app's local storage behavior.
  • Removing WrapKit and its sandbox/container data removes locally stored application data according to standard macOS behavior.

Purchase and transaction records processed by Apple or RevenueCat may be retained according to those providers' applicable policies and legal requirements.

For privacy questions or assistance concerning WrapKit, users can contact support@wrapkit.app.

10. Children's Privacy

WrapKit is a general productivity application and is not specifically directed at children.

11. Security

WrapKit operates within the macOS App Sandbox environment provided by Apple. Sandboxing restricts the application's access to only its dedicated container and files you explicitly select or grant access to through standard macOS system open and save dialogs.

12. User Control and Privacy Choices

Because WrapKit has no account system and does not operate a behavioral advertising or tracking system, users control their locally stored workspace content directly within the application on their Mac. You can add, edit, or delete Kits, Wraps, Versions, and associated materials at any time.

If purchase-related records are retained by Apple or RevenueCat in connection with your in-app purchase, those providers' applicable privacy policies and legal requirements apply.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
